Our Horses - 
Hamlet
22 year old Irish Draught X gelding, Born in 1988 in Ireland. He served with the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery in London before retiring to work as a School master at the Army Veterinary Centre Melton Mowbray. 
We got Hamlet on Christmas Eve 2002 and drove him to Germany (Best Christmas present ever), Hamlet had been suffering with lameness for five months due to tendon problems. After some detailed pin point Vet care by our friend Dr Gunter Graf and superb shoeing by Herman Meier our German Farrier, Hamlet was on the road to recovery. He was fully fit again in five weeks. Since then Hamlet has competed in every equestrian field from Hunting, Team chasing, Show jumping to 
Dressage. He enjoys all his work and is loved by all, we as a family are extremely proud of Hamlet and give him everything he could ask for. Hamlet is the power in the team and is superb in traffic ( All those early mornings in London). He feels he owns the road and is sure footed. He loves Polo's and Coke, so be sure to bring some when you come to visit us.
Hebe
Hebe is a 5 year old Irish Draught X Mare, Born in Annan Scotland on the 17th May 2005 out of Gold King and bread at the Dunlop Stud just outside Annan. When we decided to purchase a third horse to work along side Hamlet and Hank we looked far and wide. we looked at young & old, untrained & trained horses alike. We only popped to the Stud as it was on our doorstep (so glad we
did). That's when we saw Hebe, Her colour and size were a perfect match & she will fit in nicely between the boys. Hebe was trained by us to be the best young horse anyone could wish for, Hebe is both talented and calm in equal measures. Her future is bright and having just completed her 100th wedding from Glasgow to Newcastle, Oxford to Appleby and of course here in Gretna Green she will continue to delight and dazzle a thousand more weddings and pleasure drives.
Hobo
We would all like to welcome our new carriage horse Hobo, he is an 8 year old 15,3 hh black Fresian
horse from Belgium. We were loaned Hobo from john at the North East Carriage Company after the sad death of Heidi. Hobo was working in the Newcastle area as the spare horse for John and his team of Friesians but poor Hobo was always to small so was only used as the spare, John knew hobo would help us out and be at home in Gretna Green. Hobo has been such a sweet lad and has teamed up with Hamlet so well he had to stay after the loan spell. Everyone just loves him and he has already finished his 20th wedding with us. We hope you will all like Hobo and welcome him to Gretna Green, we know he will enjoy his new life and have a great future.

Heidi, 2006 - 2010
Sadly Heidi is no longer with us, all of us in the family loved Heidi dearly and feel a great sadness in her tragic death on the 30th May, She had a great but short life and standing next to her sister Hebe, she looked stunning and every inch a picture of beauty.
Age shall not weary her,
Saddle shall not burden her,
In death as in life we loved her,
In our hearts we will Keep her.
