The Victoria The Victoria is our pride and joy, It is a traditional carriage Built in 1892 and seats up to four adults. It is painted in king green and looks stunning at any venue. The carriage originally came from Germany and was used many times for weddings and pleasure drives. The Victoria can be decorated in your own style or can be dressed traditionally by our local florist. The Victoria can be used with the hood up or down as per the weather conditions or the clients choice.
- The Glass Landau
Tartan Carriages is proud to anounce our new Glass Landau Carriage to our line up. She is dark green/black as per our other carriages, with black leather interior and fully closing door. even with the top up and the doors shut everyone can still see the bride clearly. The top also folds down as required for the summer. Tartan Carriages feel that giving our clients the best choice and service is what people expect. So for 2010 we have taken the company forward and raised the bar higher.
The cost for the Glass Landau is only £120 - £200 above the Victoria (Depends on venue and distance), So a reel bargain. In most parts of the UK this carriage costs £750 - £1000 per wedding.
The wagonette
The opened top country vehicle. The Waggonette was built in Poland for Hansmeier of Kellertal (Germany). Herr Hansmeier drove for Germany in many International competitions, so he knows a thing or to. The wagonette can seat four adults in the back comfortably and one with the driver. So if it is a picnic or a drive through the country your after then this is the carriage for you. It is built with comfort in mind and a chasis to deal with the most demanding of terain.
Dress Feathers
We can also dress the horses with either white stunning Ostrich feathers to give your day that extra WOW factor.
